WTF is wrong with me?!

Can't wait, I'm really excited about this. Also looking forward to the seventh season of Curb Your Enthusiasm and third season of Californication. But this summer is not that bad so far, new The Closer season and fifth Rescue Me. And Surviving Suburbia isn't too bad either.

And LeBron, good job on that tape man, you know, the one where you got dunked on by a college kid.

Nice tits, mind if I feel them?
I really like entourage, but I don't understand why people are so obsessed over this show. It's not that great.

I can't stand the concept of celebrity ...

I can't stand the concept of celebrity, especially other people's infatuation with it. As such, people have said I may enjoy Entourage. Does it really poke fun at the cult of celebrity?

I've always been a fan of Wahlberg ever since Boogie Nights, and the other things he's done. He doesn't remotely seem full of himself, and in stark contrast, seemingly even poking fun at his early music career.

I'm too busy to watch anything as it hits on TV, so I typically hit Netflicks or one of the HD channels (e.g., Universal HD) and watch the reruns of their various, past series offerings. I have HBO on-demand, so I assume they have the older years of the series in there, somewhere (not in front of my DVR since I'm on travel over the weekend as well)?

Just wondering if it's worth my time.

I'm ready! I just hope it's a lot better than Season 5 was. That was awful!

Well, if you can't stand the concept of celebrity, there will also be parts of this show that you won't like. But, the show does "poke fun at the cult of celebrity" on a regular basis, especially by showing how strange, embarrassing or offensive this "world" seems (or is) when you're on the outside looking in, as it leads you through the daily live of an upcoming star and his "entourage".
There are great characters in this show. I know of nobody, who has watched it so far and not loved or hated at least one of the characters. And the series shows the ups and downs of the business, not only the red carpets and expensive cars (even though that's also part of the show).
You can appreciate the show even more, if you know your way around the movie and tv business. Tons of guest stars, some playing characters, some playing themselves. And when Ali Larter, Bob Saget or Jessica Alba suddenly appear playing themselves, and you have to ask yourself "who are they?", half of the charme of the scene is lost, if you know what I mean.

You should be able to stomach smoking and drinking on screen, excessive cursing and swearing and some nudity, but I guess that'll be no problem.

In case you give it a try, don't decide after the first two episodes. The first episodes is probably one of the weakest pilotes HBO ever produced.

I agree with that. I caught the pilot back when The Sopranos and The Wire were still on and I was watching a fair amount of HBO. I didn't like it at all. Later on, I caught a few more episodes and kind of got hooked. But since The Sopranos, The Wire and Rome are no longer on HBO, I cancelled it, and I'm not sure that it's worth it to renew HBO just for one show... probably not.

I guess I'll have to catch Vinny, Drama and the crew down the road somewhere.

Still wish HBO wouldn't have screwed up deadwood. That was my favorite for some time.

I loved that show too. Such a shame the way it went out. I doubt the 3 TV movies that were planned to round everything up are ever going to get made now because everyone has gone off to do other things.

I love Cassia

What am I doing here?
Halfway thru season 4 on dvd....we prolly wont get s6 here for a while
