Sure its probably true he had it as President I mean he was one of the oldest elected 2 term presidents!

Alot of Presidents weren't in the best of health when serving their term, just look at JFK lol

I suspected he had alzheimers when I watched the second debate with Mondale. Reagan loss his trend of thought often and stumbled on many issues. But he came back strong in the third debate and won the election.

Abraham Lincoln was also in bad health, if you look at the pictures over the years, you can see it in his face. people think he might of had some sort of disease but i can't remember what it was.

Yeah, and? He very well might have. FDR was a cripple, JFK was on pain pills, Jefferson had "Jungle Fever" and Clinton did have sexual relations with that woman. So what? Even if he was starting to show some early symptoms, he had the best medical care possible. Plus his handlers would have steered him away from any real decision making if he was having an episode. I am not trying to make light of a serious illness by any means. Everybody has some cross to bear in life, even if you are the POTUS.

There was a series on the Discovery or History Channel about leaders in power who were effected by illness and drugs. The one on Reagan suggested that after the assasination attempt, not only his body but mind (well what little he had) deteriorated faster and that in the end all his closest aides and advisors were making all the decisions.

If true those things didn't effect their mental conditions or their ability to do their jobs as president. (except for maybe JFK) If Reagan had reduced mental capacity as the president the American people had every right to know and should have been told.
