Real, Actual Socialists Not Pleased With Obama

These are the smart socialists. While it's easy to see Dubya as "worse", these guys see more big-picture similarities between Bush and Obama - and they make a compelling case, too. Those whose understanding of socialism is largely directed by Glenn Beck and co., prepare to be confused!!

Excerpt:

"The Times article on the "AIG backlash" concludes by citing the concern of Obama aides that, if the Democratic president "were to become identified as an advocate for the banks and Wall Street, people could take out their anger on him."

What they fear is that all of the rhetoric about "change" and "hope" notwithstanding, Obama will be seen more and more for what he is: a front man for finance capital who is implicated in its criminality and fraud and is carrying out a naked class policy to defend its interests."

If FreeOnes was a woman, I'd marry her!
This is setting the stage for a new period of class struggle and the emergence of a mass socialist movement in America.

I'd love to see that, but I doubt it will ever happen.

Why aren't they pleased with Barry? He IS a real socialist!

Read the article, and you might learn why. Just declaring that is - even in all caps - doesn't make it so.
