I've recently been jamming instrumentals, so hit me with some. What I already have:
Metallica, Rush, Dream Theater, Steve Vai, Yngvwie Malmsteen, Chimaira, and my most recent pick up Marc Rizzo.

Looking to go where no FreeOnes member has gone before!
"Jessica" by The Allman Brothers....great instrumental, although it doesn't fit on with the music you have listed. If you like the Southern Rock genre, check out Warren Haynes, Gov't Mule, Allman Brothers. Just a thought.

Check out anything by John 5. He was the guitarist in Marilyn Manson but he released 5 (I think) instrumental albums that fucking ROCK. He can shred man. Believe me. Download the album Songs For Sanity. Best instrumental stuff I`ve ever heard.

Good call on Mark Rizzo too :hatsoff:

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
I am not sure of the exact title, but Black Sabbath did a song called Laguna Sunrise, I think. Not what you are expecting from them.

From the undeservedly obscure Canadian bluesman Pat Travers -

"Offbeat Ride" listen (no download necessary - just chill for a second :D)
Circa approx. 1980 mind you :o

The tune incorporates a Jazz - Blues - Rock theme.
Pretty Cool IMO

Forgot to mention that I have the Nightwish, Allman Bros, and Sabbath. I'm looking up all the other suggestions now (they'll be purchased on CD so as to preserve a little bit of sound quality).

Pain heals, chicks dig scars, Freeones lasts forever
Joe Satriani does nothing but rock instrumentals. Some really good stuff there. I really enjoyed his album "Strange Beautiful Music."

Ravenholm

Never argue with a fool. People might not know the difference.
Raise The Hammer - Hammerfall

I changed my middle-name to Freeones
If you like a bit "harder" music, check out Mastodon. They do a lot of excellent jamming.
