Remember Your first car

Fresno

Less than 1,000 posts away from my free Freeones T-shirt
My first car was a 1977 dodge aspen station wagon.

IT had a slanted 6, 250 moter and One Barrel Carburetor.

It was a cool station wagon. But it had a AM radio.

That was the first thing I changed.

I had no pictures of my first car so I found one on the internet that looked like the one I had.

Thank for reading.

PS:

What was the first car that you owned.

I got it in 1969 , it was a touch rusty but drove well enough. It had a heater too which was very rare at that time (I remember Lord Stokes the car boss saying "wear an overcoat like I do")
Always a faint smell of oil in the car but that was normal at the time.

'86 Chevy Celebrity - color shit brown

I crashed it when I was 16. Didn't total it but they towed it to some scrap yard without my permission for some reason. The price of the tow was like $100. It was such a piece of junk, we just gave it to the tow guy as payment for the tow.

Ah, memories..

I had a 1986 Ford Tempo. Too bad I don't still have it. I could get collector plates on it in a few more years. :1orglaugh

50 Worst Cars of All Time - Cimarron

No, in all honesty, it was alright, but I had little knowledge about maintenance - being that I was only like 15 when I bought it - so as a result, it suffered. Really it was a chevy cavalier with a "Cadillac" logan on it, with leather seats, of course. :) It did haul ass though with the 2.8 V6.

I have no opinion
My Father gave me a 1954 Plymouth Savoy that he had given up on(this in 1968). 4 door, flathead 6, three speed on the column. Somewhat rusty, the engine had 0 psi of oil pressure due to an out of round crankshaft that spun Number 5 rod bearing about every five months causing the engine to freeze up. Then I had to drop the oil pan, remove the rod cap and put in a new bearing. Good for another 4 or 5 months until it happend again. I thought I was Fireball Roberts and beat the crap out of that car. A testament to Chrysler products is the fact that it lasted me almost 2 years. We called it the "DSP"(for Dilapidated Sh*t Pile). Hooked me on Plymouths to this day.(I still have two-a 1952 and a 1980)
