Remove/Disable Notices

Most of the Notices that appear (the bar above the threads and below the menu) have an X on the far right to remove them. However, this one for the Miss FreeOnes contest does not and there doesn't seem to be any way to remove it. Is this intentional?

Also, is there any way to permanently disable receiving these moderator notices? I haven't made use of one yet and it's kinda annoying to have to keep removing them.

There are some that you can choose to remove, and some like the Miss FreeOnes that we want to stay up permanently.

Do they really have to show up at the top of every thread you visit? Isn´t it enough if they´re shown on the "front page" of the forum? But i guess that´s the whole point with advertising, to exhaust people with the same message over and over until at last they simply give up and click on the damn link.

Hey, we could always go with notices and advertisments in the middle of a thread like some boards. Or even better, we can do the key word crap where you get that annoying box with some sort of advertisment in it.
