That's a clever response and all, but like most of what you post, isn't based in any kind of reality. How many streams of income do you have, again, first generation lawyering doesn't leave you much time for other pursuits, I'm sure.
Plenty of successful people in first generation careers. Although as usual, you are wrong about my family. My maternal uncle was a lawyer. As well as a couple before him.
As for my income sources, none of your business although real estate investments help me sleep well at night.
You seem to have a hang up on first generation career pursuits. As this is the second or third time you've mentioned it. I've never cared if someone was the first to blaze a trail.
I can probably list quite a few successful lawyers that entered the profession when it wasn't necessarily the family business.
