Reporting A Post Adds to Your Post Count

Why does my post count increase when I report a post? Not that I care too much about it but without all the filesharers and spammers my number would be around 8,000. :dunno:

When you report a post, a new post is created in a reported post section with the nessary info so mods can take care of it.
