When Petra first made this thread I didn't care either way. After reading over all this I voted Yes finally it means something. I have a ton of rep and I really don't care about it so reset it. I come to post and talk to the members here not for the rep.

At the time, Dirk (no offense, you just happen to have the most rep) had been a member for 2 years and hadn't achieved 1 million rep. Less than 1 year later, he has 10 million rep. The numbers are getting ridiculous. He's repping at 100,000 right now. The top 50 or so users are all beyond 1 million rep. A noob with 100 posts to his name will have 1 million rep by the time he hits 200 posts. That's outrageous.

Although, assuming it's reset and you attach actual worth to the rep, in 2 years time we'll be back where we are now. Unreal numbers that are actually worth something. Depending on what the rep is worth, this could be bad.

If only that were true... I'm no where near the million mark - My posts are generally in the Ashley Robbins thread, and I stay clear of the other non-porn related ones. I got my biggest amount of rep the other day for posting a bunch of old links (Which were soon removed by a mod, but I still have the points...).

I'd like it if being a regular around a thread or the entire forum meant something.

EDIT: I take that back - My rep is around 10,000,000. I was looking at the points - But I have 279 posts in two years...
