Resident Evil 5 Demo. It's out. Thoughts?

Didja like it? Didja hate it? Why do I have to stand still while reloading?

Tell ya something I noticed. They're in Africa, right? How come there's only a few black people? I didnt realize that 80% of europe and mexico migrated to Africa! WOW! Instant diversity, eh?

With that said, the game is awesome but the AI partner is just about useless. A liability. Online coop mode = a necessity, from what I've seen.

I didn't like it but I've never really liked the Resident Evil games anyway. I've never liked the control scheme. I'll stick to Street Fighter IV this month and skip Resident Evil like I always do. I prefer the Resident Evil movies.

I thought the controls were some of the worst I have ever seen. The characters turn way too slow and aiming is not responsive enough. Everything in it just seems to take too long (RELOADING!). I will not buy this game.

I kept dying in the first shack as all of the African people were coming in through the window and the doors because I had a hard time trying to turn around to shoot them and when I finally did they got me because I couldn't reload. After that I just simply erased the demo from my hard drive.

I played it on both the PS3 and the XBOX 360 and I loved it. It's a lot like resident evil 4 but better ( and I loved RE4 ). What surprised me is that the PS3 version had at least one slowdown when there where too many enemies on screen at the same time. By the way Cartman , there is a button that lets you make a sharp turn from your front to your back.

I think it's quite fun. I still feel like I'm playing Resident Evil 4, but with higher graphics + different surroundings. I loved Res 4, so I'm cool with it

I thought it was fantastic. As for the reloading it has been like that for a while with the standing still. As for the black people reggie and all the racist black people got there panties in a bunch about killing black people so they were forced to put some light skin brothers in there. Definatly a must buy

Never had real time choices in the game before. Still cool though. Sheva is much better, much more nimble & quick.

Heh, I was almost at that point (pissed) the first few times I played it. RE4 got more and more fun every time I played it, too. Fuggin' hated 4 so bad.. until I actually killed that water beast and kept playing.. kept beating it.. I could pop any creature's head in a split second. RE5 reminds me of 4, sure. I have to get good at it, again.

I thought it was alright but I lost interest in the RE series after RE2. If they remade RE2 on the PS3, I would be very excited.

the demo was shit. I can look past all the issues it has for rental purposes, but the controls will ruin this game more than anything else!

Didn't like it. Controls make it too difficult. The AI partner is useless, and when you have a co-op player who doesn't wanna co-operate it's even more difficult.

But it does look very very nice.

I fucking loved it it seems better then part 4 and part 4 is easily one of my favorite games of all time and wtf why is everyone complaining about the controls they are not hard at all in fact it seems alot easier to aim then in part 4 if anyone is getting this for the ps3 add me my psn is SeanBlitzer I'm looking for someone to play this with since all my friends have an xbox

i tried it on xbox and ps3 and they seemed about the same. i'd have to try them both again to get a better comparison.

i found the ps3 controller better for this game, tho. i just found it easier. the shoulder buttons are better on the ps3 controller, imo, so that helped.
