My hometown is about 20 miles from his hometown and it's the location of the Bob Feller Museum. I've never visited it but I always admired his accomplishments and that he gave up three and a half years of his career to fight in the Second World War. Not too many guys would do that nowadays.

Bob Feller was one of the greatest pitcher ever to play the game. I love watching old footage of him pitching and how easy he made it look. He will be missed.
