I don't particularly like RW, but I do like Angels and No Regrets (the former having done quite well in The States).

You just named a load of one hit wonders.

Robbie Williams was never a one hit wonder. His albums went number 1, not just one or two of his singles.

Whether they are one hit wonders or not is irrelevant, I was just responding to your claim that "people don't sell records by writing bad music" when clearly they do as my list demonstrates.
:hatsoff:

Sorry, let me rephrase it.

"people don't sell ALBUMS by writing bad music". I don't really think of 'singles' as records.

Does anyone?

Edit: Ok fuck it, lets put a nail in this coffin.

  • "sold more albums in the UK than any other British solo artist in history and has won more BRIT Awards than any other artist to date."
  • "Williams was entered in The Guinness Book of World Records when, after he announced his World Tour for 2006, 1.6 million tickets were sold in one single day"
  • "In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame, after being voted as the Greatest artist of the 1990s."
  • "He appears in the list of the all-time Top 100 biggest selling albums in the United Kingdom six times"

End of.
