Deadpool yes, Hal Jordan no! I can't see Ryan Reynolds playing this role but I guess I'll have to wait the movie. Hell I would have chosen Nathan Fillion.

As for Green Lantern. Know next to nothing about him, so Reynolds is as good as anyone I suppose. He was pretty forgettable in Wolverine: Origins - X:Men. As was the film.

Only one of the Green Lanterns has been black (John Stewart). The quintessential Lantern everyone recognises is a white man, Hal Jordan. It's a bit like how there's been two female Robins but everyone just knows ol' Dick Grayson.
