Yep, exceptions to the rule. I also watched Spiderman 3, Superman Returns, X Men 3, The Incredible Hulk, Wolverine: X Men - Origins. . .

Those are shit films. "Watchmen" most definately was not.

Let's not be too quick to judge... a lot were not in favor of Heath as Joker, and look at how phenomenal of a performance it was.

How many times can you watch virtually indestructable characters in costumes flying around fighting each other. . .not forgetting their soap opera lite personal issues!

Hmm ... maybe about as long as people have been reading about costumed indestructible characters flying around and fighting each other, as well as their personal issues!

For all the comic book films that have come out this decade like Superman Returns (which was amazingly shite), X-Men: The Last Stand, Ghost Rider, Elektra, or the astoundingly horrid Catwoman that came down the pike, films that are actually done well such as Spider-Man 2, both Nolan helmed Batman movies, Iron Man, Watchmen, ect ect will always bring audiences back.

Cause you know ... these films can be done .. and done well.

Same goes for superhero comic books obviously.
