I am the One
the've both defeated the odds in their battles but who would win in a fight between these two tough movie heroine's? lol

Sarah Conner played by Linda Hamilton in Terminator 1 & 2 who battled against Skynets vicious unstoppable cyborg Terminators sent back from time?

or

Ellen Ripley played by Sigourney Weaver in the Alien movies who battled against they fearsome alien predators, Xenomorph?

Sarah Conner had help in both Terminator movies. She was told about the terminators, given a briefing, and had time to prepare. Ripley on the other hand had to use her own wits to fight creatures she knew nothing about. For the most part she defeated the aliens by herself rather than having someone else helping her. Ripley all the way. Sarah Conner had Los Angeles and the entire world to run from the Terminator; Ripley was stuck on a spaceship trying to fight deadly alien(s)--and most of the time the ship was going to blow up (except in film 3). Then you have to take in the fact that Ripley had to take on the Queen after the aliens had slaughtered a group of specially-trained Marines; at the end of Terminator 2 (and throughout most of the film) Sarah had to have the Governator save her or she and John would have been dead.

If you compare the films you'd easily see that Ripley is definitely more badass. Sarah talks the talk with the tough talk but she doesn't walk the walk. Ripley doesn't need to act tough like Sarah, Ripley is tough.

On the other hand, Sarah could have run fas as she could have gone but she choosed to confront the Terminator. Ripley had no other choice but fight.

I think Sarah would win, except in front of the cloned Ripley as she is in Alien Resurrection : the clone has superior strengh, endurance, caustic blood, self-healing abilities (she stab herself with a knife in the hand, pull the knife off and her hands heals imediately.

Actually, Sarah did run as fast as she could, throughout both movies. All she did was run in the first movie, and only in the end did defeat it after Reese had blown it in half. The first movie, she ran again, and even with the original Terminator on her side. They didn't confront the T-1000 by choice, the T-1000 kept finding them, and they would have kept running from after blowing up that corporation but they accidentally crashed into that factory.

Ripley is a specially trained astronaut, she probably is good at hand to hand combat. Nevertheless, she was not trained to fight aliens. Sarah had years after John was born to learn all her skills, and even then she just barely defeated one Terminator after running away from it throughout the entire movie. Ripley has defeated aliens where stronger men have failed.

Trained in combat ? I don't think so. The Nostromo was just a cargo, not a battle-spaceship, Hicks had to teach her how to use a riffle shot-gun in Aliens.

Will fuck for FreeOnes!
Sarah Connor just blows shit up, and someone has to be there to hold her hand during it to make sure she doesn't get herself killed. She's a tough mama, but she's also the archetypal damsel in distress.

Ripley is smarter and possesses greater survival instincts. She lays traps, makes do with little in the way of weaponry and somehow manages to outwit the perfect predator. She laid the path for a new breed of female heroine.

Ripley was also sexier, a much more rounded character, and had a better story overall.

My hand is my best friend!
Ripley wins this.
Watch the movies carefully and you will see that Ripley has much better reflexes/agility than Sarah. Plus Ripley has more determination. All Sarah did was run like a coward in the first movie and in the second Arnold was there saving her ass.

She wasn't an astronaut, just a blue collar worker in space. Anyway she is the best, she made the ultimate sacrifice to end the alien menace in Alien3. (let's just forget about Alien 4) & let's not forget that for more than half of Alien's running time we didn't know she was going to become the lead & ultimately the heroine.
& this is probably one of the most iconic images of modern sci-fi/action cinema

But wait, Ripley had been in hypersleep for 57 yrs., so the gun might have been something she wasn't familiar with. And besides, she seemed to have learned to use it pretty quickly, wouldn't you say?

Ripley wins easily.

I'd like to see an Alien/Terminator hybrid. Not a movie. Just the creature. It'd be cool.
