He went to a country that was (and is) openly hostile to America. A country whose government ignored sanctions and demands from the UN. And several other things that most people are willfully ignorant about that would be harmful to the world in general and the middle east specifically. So yes, I think treason would be apt. I also believe Jane Fonda should have been thrown in the slam for the exact same reason. Don't agree? Then don't read it. I don't see what the big deal is about him going to Iraq. Unless he did a photo-op with some insurgents like Fonda did or popped off a couple shots. I'd say the prick was lucky that he didn't get taken hostage.
