I don't know, I wish that were true. O-face got the corrupt Chicago political machine and the mostly liberal media behind him, so any Republican candidate will have an uphill battle. I'm fine with suggestions for a POTUS who might possibly do better than Obama. But why not vote for me if you're thinking about someone like Palin? OK, so maybe I ain't much to look at, but I can read & write (at least at a 12th grade level), I can cypher pretty good (especially if I take my shoes off), I've actually read the Constitution... plus I know a continent from a country. And if she couldn't handle the "pressure" of running a backwater state, with a population that is less than most large U.S. cities, how in the world does anyone think that this intellectual dwarf could handle the REAL pressure that would come with being President of the United States?

As for where I am... I'm a man about Sarah's age, who owned a mortgage company and got an advanced degree from a top business school, while she was still diploma shopping at various (unheard of) undergrad diploma mills around the U.S., to get a make believe liberal arts degree in "journalism"... yet she doesn't appear to be able to read & write very well. Go figure. But she is doing well now (financially). Here's the catch though, young wizard: whatever I have, I know how I got it - so I'd know how to get it back if I lost it. What Sarah has is based on the lucky break she got when McCain plucked her out of the tundra and made her a "star". Her 15 minutes are ticking away. And when the same people, who used to send their paychecks to Jim & Tammy Faye Baker's PTL Club, stop giving Sarah their money (so she can get herself and the youngins some new duds up at that Barneys or Saks), her ass is toast. At that point, the next time you'll see her will be on VH-1's "Where Are They Now?"

I ain't all that smart, Will (I think you'd agree with that, right? ). But in light of the fact that this country's most serious issues revolve around economics, why would you want to vote for a person who can't spell "economics" (without writing it on her hand... after someone else tells her how to spell it), and who even I could rip to total shreds in a business or economic debate??? Vote for me, Will! I'll do a bad job and I'll spend more time chasing cute members of the press corps than governing. But even the bad job I'd do would be better than the best job that Silly Sarah could do.

You can either vote for a candidate, against a candidate or sit on the sidelines.

I surmise that when Obama won in '08 there was an incredible momentum amongst GOPers to simply vote against him. There was also in my estimation plenty of people who voted for him....the good thing, FARRR more people voted FOR Obama than did vote for McCain and against Obama combined.

Point is, even though there are some phonies who apparently didn't know what they were voting for in Obama who are now for some reason disenchanted..Obama was supported into office..not defaulted.

There are many who claimed to support Obama who are now blathering about spending when he's spending on exactly the things he ran on.

The misleading circumstance in the big spending picture is the transition out of Iraq and more resources into Afghanistan.

Obama's stimulus went largely to the things he ran on...infrastructure improvement and tax breaks/credits. An ENORMOUS part of his campaign was health care reform...

I don't get how someone claiming to vote for the guy now whines about spending when he ran on this stuff.

By the time Obama is debating Romney or whomever has a leg to stand on after the other GOPers stuff both feet in their mouths up to the knees..I predict they won't have the economy to babble about, the war on terror, Afghanistan or even Libya...They'll likely be left spewing about health care and probably look silly doing it in light of what else will have happened.

So I guess in that case Obama will be defaulted into office for another 4 years.:o

I never said he was a good politician, because he wasn't. However, even well before 2000 election he had the "maverick" label by some in Washington. It's hard to remember now because it's been such a long time, but even if McCain was never great he wasn't the sellout to his own party like he is now.

Crime figures down in cities all across the nation.

I'm not asking you to make me believe anything, I'm asking you to provide some proof for the absolute crap that you have posted. You make declarations, presenting them as fact, but you don't back them up.

Either provide proof for your statements, or expect people to question them. If you don't like that, don't make declarations.
