It's YOUR life.

People have become so obsessed with living longer that they have forgotten WHY they live in the first place... I'd rather die with my dignity that someone keeping me alive to lay in my own filth in pain.

Honor is something that has become "uncool" in the post modern world. There ARE more important things than prolonging life... after all, death is just a part of life anyway and nothing to be feared.

it's your life. if you want it to end due to some painful untreatable condition then yes. the only reason medical professionals would try to keep you alive at that point is so they can take even more money from you
