Should Extinct Species be Cloned?

I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.
I'm saying that it sounds like you're decrying the act of playing God and using the example of breeding dogs for specific traits. I just don't see how that's different from cloning a Dodo and assigning or removing specific traits.

Not a big deal....just seems a little inconsistent IMO.
Nah, what I'm decrying is using the "playing god" argument to suggest we shouldn't clone, when we as humans have been "playing god" in various ways for 100s of years, the selective breeding example being just one of many. So to me it doesn't seem like a valid anti-cloning argument.
As for where I stand on cloning. . .:dunno:

Didn't Hollywood already make a movie trilogy about this? :dunno:

Yes, I bribed and cheated to get this far
as to the question: probably not.

But fuck it, it could be cool. I want to see a dinosaur!

BTW, there is no God. or at least there isn't one in this context that will somehow prohibit people from doing what they are capable of doing. People are going to do what they do; it's up to them to decide whether it's right or not.

Everyone will be famous for 15 minutes.
I think we should bring back Grunge.
