Should I complain about that to a shop?

I just bought 5 litter box for my cats from Provigo (Grocery store) and ask them to deliver it which is just 1$.

Their policy is that the delivery will take from 30 minutes to 2 hours, I bought them at 10:01AM and the delivery guy came at 12:54PM.

Which is more than 2 hours. Because of that I decided to my ask the delivery guy to refund my 1$.

The guy come and put all the litter boxes and I ask why its took them so long. He just said ''I don't know'' and when I asked a refund for my 1$ for taking more than 2 hours politely, and then he screamed at me:

''You know what? Next time you go to Provigo, bring those litters yourself, you can forget about the delivery because I will never deliver to you again.'' and slammed my door and went back to his van rapidly.

Should I call Provigo? I don't know the name of the delivery guy since he just put the boxes, talked and left fast.

See Thats a different story if you are more interested in him loosing his job because of his performance then by all means call and report him

Let it go, the guy probably makes crappy money, lousy tips, and has an asshole for a boss. It's not like he was delivering a cold pizza or something.

Well deliberated and sentiments worth remembering, rev. Also, give consideration to the possibility that the delivery person may not have been given sufficient time to comply with their store "policy," for which the delivery person his / or herself had no control of. Perhaps indeed the delay in dispatching the delivery person was intentional. Regardless, from the vantage point of SimonMK's door stoop, this case smacks of Shooting the messenger.

I wouldn't mind if he didn't want to refund me. Its the way he responded to me and slammed my door that piss me off.

I called Provigo and they say they will see what they do about him since he told me to forget about getting any delivery from them.

I was angry because he 55 minutes late but I stayed calm when he arrived. He come 55 minutes late and dare yell at me and slam my door? All I asked was a simple question, all he had to do was reply politely like I did, now he getting fired because he can't control his anger and respect a customer.

I didn't yell at him or insulted him. I am not the kind of person who get mindlessly angry and you would know that from my other topics.

I've worked in customer services. I've also ran deliveries for a lumber company. You know that saying "The customer is always right." Well, it isn't true. About 20% of the time the customer is a complete dousch. Now, It probably wasn't you that had him riled up. His wife or girlfriend. His kids. His boss. His last stop. Who knows? You just.... broke the camel's back, most likely.

I think the best thing you could do is to turn the other cheek. He might just be a very angry person. So who's it going to help by making his situation more miserable? It's not like he punched you in the mouth or something. I wouldn't go out of my way to get vendication over just some words, and a dollar bill. Brush off your shoulder, and move on, man.

Nah I wouldn't bother. Probably just a one-off and you've wasted more time on here posting about it and spent more than 1 dollar (in some ways) too.

Although if the same delivery guy/company gives you hassle then yeah, have a moan about it.

well since it was a WHOLE dollar, I think you should file a lawsuit against them for 10 million dollars.

Its a freakin dollar dude, relax.

If the shipping cost 25 bucks or something then you have reason to complain, but for a dollar? Come on now, your better than that.
