Sinkhole 20m wide appears overnight in garden


A 20m-wide sinkhole appeared in the garden of a Mr Zhang Fengrong in China.

The huge chasm formed overnight outside his family home in Leshan, Sichuan Province.

The 58-year-old explained that he first became aware that something dramatic was happening when he heard a loud roaring sound at 2am.

Startled, he went to investigate, and discovered a massive pit was opening up in front of him.

To date, no one is quite sure just how deep it is. Mr Fengrong tried to measure its depth using a rope attached to a heavy iron, but after 40-feet of rope was lowered into the gloom, it still hadn’t touched the bottom.

A pit-iful state of affairs.

‘It used to be land for vegetables, but in a blink the land disappeared along with several fruit trees,’ said Fengrong's son Zhang Shiyin.

Luckily, the hole’s rampage stopped one metre from the house.

In the story, it talks about a man so poor, the dogs even 'licked his sores.'
The rich man who didn't help was sent to hell. In hell, he looked up and saw Abraham in Heaven and asked 'for a drop of water because he was so thirsty.'

Abraham told him no because there was a 'CHASM' that separated Hell from Heaven, and it wasn't fixed.

The rich man then begged Abraham to let him warn his family about how they should follow God so they won't come to Hell.
