I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.
A plague on all your houses to those that favour Seen Canary as 007! Sir Rog is the best!! :D
But what is his best film?

For me its The Spy Who Loved Me. The definitive cinematic Bond experience, it has it all, the evil villain, the wonderful Ken Adam designed lairs & locales, the gadgets, the girls, the one-liners, the henchmen, the action that could only exist in a Bond movie (including the best pre-credits sequence*). Its got an inherently British cheeky feel to it & remains one of the purest examples of fun escapist cinema!
So there!

Never argue with a fool. People might not know the difference.
Live & Let Die

The villain with multiple personalities, the voodoo mysticism, the boat chase in the bayou...

I was wondering how long it would take for the Roger Moore (sorry Sir) fanclub to fire up. Its gotta be "Live and Let Die" for me great locations comic book villan (Kanaga) + his sidekick, and one of the best Bond theme musics (The Beatles!). A classic.

Friday on my mind

Pain heals, chicks dig scars, Freeones lasts forever
Thats hard as much as I like Roger Moore I don't think any of his Bond films were very good lol.

I will probably vote for Moonraker but have story (maybe true lol) about "Man with the golden gun".Before the movie came out but had been announced Roger Moore's golfing buddy Alice Cooper put out the album "Muscle of love" with song "Man with the golden gun" on it lobbying for it to be the title track?.Being a Cooper fan I was really hoping it might be the theme song but alas it wasn't.Guess Cooper was too radical.

OH and btw "Live and let die" was not from the Beatles. It was from Paul McCartney and Wings.

For some reason even being a huge Beatles fan (favorite band all time) I hated wings and "Live and let die" was at the top of the list.

I need to clean my screen!
For Your Eyes Only was Moores best.

After the villians getting more and more ridiculous as they went...FYEO brought the character back down to earth.

No evil genius with a space station or any of that cartoon shit. All he was after was a decoding machine.

It took Bond back to his roots.

Yep, this shows that Sir Rog can play the character more seriously. Although I prefer the light hearted tone of his other movies FYEO is an underrated Bond movie.

There are contests on this board?
For Your Eyes Only... Or maybe Live and Let Die. Those are the best. FYEO's Mr. Boooooooooooooooooond is perfection.

Moore's the best Bond.

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
And here I thought Octopussy would win on its name alone. How do you turn down eight of those? What do I know though, right? I voted for For Your Eyes Only, definitely my favorite of Moore's performances. I also liked that the MacGuffin was just a simple ATAC device.

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
And he is a Sir for what reason?

Is that a serious question? He was knighted by the Queen, thus he receives that title. I'm an American, and I know what "Sir" means when it comes in front of someone's name. Culture, my good friend, culture. Procure some. :D
