Good call. I'm really glad he's back on tv. He has a unique way of delivering sometimes common lines, sometimes not common at all. There are things he says that - if anyone else said it - it wouldn't work, but there's a certain way he says them. The funny smile and the delays. The pauses before he finishes the sentence/statement. I remember when I first saw him on SNL, before he became a member of the cast. I think he was a writer. His first onscreen bits on the show were during certain hosts' monologues. He would stand up and uh....ask 'em uh.....questions. I remember laughing hysterically at him. Then he became a regular cast member. To me, he was one of the best Weekend Update correspondents, behind only Kevin Nealon and Chevy Chase. So it's only fitting that he is doing a show with a similar format.
