The cameras were more than likely vaporized in the explosion but they ran a few miles of cable to the actual device recording what the camera captured. So you see the shock wave comin' at ya'.

To just to be serious a minute I don't think those cameras being able to survie that is so surprising.I think I know the the vids you mean.Like the ones with the dummys in the house being blown away with the house and such.Mount the camea right with some protection and it would survive.Those blasts were still some distance a way.And also it was amazing how some survived the attacks in 1945 in Japan who were behind something that somewhat shielded them.
Also keep in mind that those camera as I said were some distance from ground zero and those were taken in early 50s when we still only had A-bombs.The bombs we had later (the bigger H-bombs) were MUCH more powefull.

I read about the effects and what an EMP would do just the other day. all the physics of how the E.M.P. works, what it does and why it would desimate the existance of most, if not all electronic operated mechanisms..

It was a very good read. So I agree 100% this county better man up and realize who the real enemies are, cuz this country (left vs. right, dems vs. repubs./ Gops) cuz they need to stop all this ridiculous unimportant bickering about, this and that, fuckin figure out a way to protect, defend, prevent and if need be combat, any, and all of that very sobering possibility to "heavens for bid" actually becoming reality. :yesyes::2 cents::hatsoff:
