meh, i find the song doesn't develop much, is predictable, and in the same key they do everything else in. it isn't original and the lyrics are weak.

other than that, it is great.

God shinedown's cover of simple man was sooo awful. I have had a tattered relationship with them ever since. (I am a huge Skynyrd fan)

Chickenfoot on the other hand is cool. Haven't heard much but they get talent for sure.

The talent is there, but the content is lacking. I worked their rehearsal before they went on tour, and they sounded lame. They sounded like a bunch of overachieving musicians trying to outdo each other, not like a band.

Yes, I worked the show last night. It was too loud and too crowded for my under-the-weather ears. I did like when Jerry Cantrell first got to the venue. It was just after the crew had finished sound checking. He sat down on the drum riser and began singing and playing on his acoustic. He's definitely talented. Some of the chord progressions that he uses are definitely not your everyday headbanging, moshing riffs.
