Fisher would totally own Snake. I've played MGS 1-3 and I have NO idea why people say it's a better stealth game than splinter cell. Snake's idea of stealth is hiding in a locker.

no it's cool. i was just adding some humor to the thread.
i never played MGS i tried the 1st one on the PS1 years and years ago and hated it. trying to hide from the enemy and sneaking, i think it was like the "manual" on how to play the game. you need to sneak past one guard with 2 obstacles in the way, then move to the next level, 2 guards with 4 obastacles and so on. i barely remember it was SO long ago.
but i would have to go with Sam Fisher cause i loved those games.

Sam would own him in a stealth kill. But if they where to actually square off Snake would probably pawn him in one on one combat. Yes Fisher is a highly trained operative but Solid is genetically engineered from what the world considered the best soldier in the world. And also has a long and colorful career behind him. Though saying this I mean Sons of liberty Snake. Old snake would likely get pawned as he is dying from fox die.

Well, in addition to that, you have to consider who's the better advisor: Otacon or Lambert. Personally, since I'm a Splinter Cell fanboy, I'd have to say Lambert.

!! Next time post Sam Fisher vs Solid Snake. Spy vs Spy is a different thing...Solid Snake isn't really a stealthy kind of guy. He's more of a fighter/survivalist. Sam Fisher is more stealthy and uses gadgets.
If they were in a fight I think Solid Snake will definitely win. Even if Sam Fisher sneaks up on Solid Snake he can use his close combat moves to finish him off. And even if Snake is injured he knows how to treat his wounds.

I know what I was doing when I made the title. It caught the eye of people, like a good headline should, and brought people in.
I wonder how Snake would take it getting out a swamp all wet and Sam hits him with a stick shocker.
It'd definitely be a decent match. Of course, I speak of realistic terms, because the fact that Snake went up against helicopters and jets seems to make him a winner in that sense. In real life, however, one shot from that he'd of been ripped apart limbs and all.
It'd make a neat miniseries in the comic books! It would just take getting around all the copyright and legal bullshit, though.

Not going by what's the better game, but by going who would win Snake would pretty much own Sam considering he's pretty much one of the greatest warrior on the planet in his games. He also takes out tanks, helicopters, hordes of genetically advanced super-soldiers, teams of the most elite soldiers on the planet, people with highly advanced future technology backing them up, people with psychic or some other form of what can pretty much be described as superpowers, highly advanced AIs, and giant nigh-invulnerable walking nuclear armed advanced robotic vehicles.
It would be like asking who would win in a fight between Batman and Superman assuming Batman had no kryptonite. Batman might very well be more realistic, and perhaps even a better comic book character, but he's going to just get his ass kicked.
