Star Wars VS. Star Trek

STAR WARS! What the hell is Star Trek, a Star Wars knockoff or something?

Conspiracy...
Star Wars :hatsoff:

I have always loved Star Wars but really dug the Star Trek Next Generation stuff. Trek's morality plays stand the test of time. As does its one-world government...a sign of things to come? muh ha ha ha ha

I know they didn't own private property either.

Many things to look at in the Star Trek series. ;)

Not to be anal or anything (and that takes on a lot of meanings in here), Star Trek was a 60s TV show and Star Wars didn't debut until the mid70s. Gene Roddenbury was a genius, as is George Lucas.

They killed Star Wars with the way they had darth vader act as a kid but I guess he was suppose to be acting japanese? I like the actors for the star trek movies and the show and I like the animated Star Wars better than the 3 new movies. The 1st 3 Star Wars Rock!

There even to me Star Wars and Star Trek

Reading this makes me horny
I grew up with Star Trek, so I've always been a pretty big fan. I don't know about this upcoming movie though.

"Nowhere did Star Trek ever do anything as dumb as JarJar." said titsrock

Except "The Trouble with Tribbles" in the original series. It is a funny episode with a nice funny finish.

As dumb as the "Tribbles" episode is...I'll take it over JarJar anyday. I felt my stomach turn when JarJar basically reintroduced blaxploitation but as a way to appeal to kids:rolleyes:

Yes, I bribed and cheated to get this far
I think we need a point by point comparison:

Weapons:
Star Wars: Light Sabers
Star trek: Phazers

Transportation:
Trek: matter transporter
wars: X-wing fighter jet

mack daddy pimp:
Wars: Han Solo
Trek: Captain Kirk

Alien that yells incoherently:
Trek: Klingon
Wars: Wookie

Gay Robot:
Wars: C3P0
Trek: Data

Token Black Guy:
Trek: Geordi laforge AKA. Reading Rainbow guy
Wars: Lando Calrissian AKA. Colt45 Malt Liquor guy

Villain with a cool voice:
Wars: Richardo Montalbán (Kahn)
Trek: James Earl Jones (Darth Vader)

Annoying asshole:
Wars: Jar Jar Binks
Trek: Tribbles

I'm running out of stuff here, add on people.

I've never, ever, watched a Star Trek movie in my entire life. Star Wars, on the other hand, are movies that are timeless, and I have seen them all, particularly the newer ones, pleanty of times. :glugglug:

I hated they killed off Darth Maul in the first movie. He would have been awesome for a villian in a couple movies. Killed him and kept Jar-Jar for a couple movies? George Lucas and I were not on the same page.

Just like Boba Fett. Lucas likes to kill off characters for no reason.

It shows weak writing skills.

Star Wars, but i did enjoy the Star Trek movies, but never much of a fan of the tv show.

I need to clean my screen!
Star Trek always put me to sleep cause it felt like a soap opera in space. I love Star Wars still to this day. I love it's planets, characters, languages, vehicles, and on and on. Also Carrie Fisher in that sex slave outfit!;)
