Invest in booze and drugs. They'll get you thru this crisis without complaint.

booze is bad investment because it is tied into the corn and grain market.

china white on the other hand, that's a good investment because it rarely fluctuates, unless some guerrilla group happens to take a machete to the current drug lord in charge of wherever, then you have to renegotiate your trading, but that is to be expected when you are doing business.

Wait till the dollar and valuations get settled first. But wait ! That's an improbability as the american corporations, continue to offshore middle class employ to the cheapest bidder in exchange for the greatest returns ($$$) possible. :dunno:
Seriously, it's like, on one side of the structure we're dumping gasoline and on the opposite, water.

Who do I blame ? (ya gotta place blame on somebody or something)

√ IVY League CEOs & Politicon sons of bitches in collaboration with one another ! :crash:

√ and as my friend "Hillel" say's . . . "The JOOS" ! :D

I don't see how the dollar is ever going to go up in value. it's already worthless anyway.

oh that's right, because it was backed by the best economic guarantee of all: lots of fricken guns! sell us cheap shit, or we'll blow up your country! (or even better, we'll blow them up and then charge you to rebuild them.)

there ya go, invest in Halliburton and Lockheed Martin.

Don't buy individual company stocks unless you really know what you're doing. Buy all the stocks through Index Fund like Vanguard Index 500. If not, throw darts at a list of stocks and buy the one you hit for this method is a good as the expert picks.

^ Oakmark Funds - good too ! :D . . .. considering . . .

How are the "staples" doing these days ?

^ ^No fair though ! I have to buy the chips whereas you are in position to capture scorpions for your salsa dip. Are they out yet ? (hot tip - spread out wet newsprint (on ground obviously) & come back in the morning.)

:Just saw Survivorman episode where he digs little 8'' deep pits to capture scorps for personal consumption. MMM - mmm ! "Scorpion Kabobs" :yummie: :

Why are you reading this?
In all seriousness, I would recommend index funds.
Look into them and you'll see why they make more sense than anything else.
If you HAD to buy a single stock buy GE.
But ONLY BUY 100+ shares at a time if you insist on buying single stocks. Anything else is going to be a real waste of time and money.
Start early and buy often, with patience and dollar cost averaging you'll come out of this nonsense better than you started.
