Book - Utimate Hitchhikers Guide (all 5 books in 1 volume )
Game - Final Fantasy 7, - it was ported to PC!

Book - I guess a graphic novel styled comic. Can't really decide though, too many to choose from.

Yeah, good point AH. If I'm stranded on an island with DVD players, TV's, computers, and power, I'm pretty sure there is a Club-Med on the other side of the island.

So I'd take the boat home.

Yeah, thats the point. A cd, dvd and comp game aren't going to help much on an island, w/o the players and power. And if you had the internet, you wouldn't be stranded, just on vacation.

Sorry poggy, but the whole idea just doesn't make sense. I may be reading to much into it. But having a cd player, a dvd player, tv and computer on a deserted island, come on, thats not stranded. The stranded on an island with 4 women was good, but this doesn't make any sense. Especially if this island has power.:2 cents:

Well it does make sence as theres a little island not far from the Isle of Wight.Also some in the islands off the coast of Scotland that are totally deserted for all but a power sub station.

Then if they have power sub stations, then there would be a way to manipulate the systems and use your "packaged" players to contact someone off island, which would means you wouldn't be stranded, just waiting for a boat.
