How angry do you have to get to use a bow and arrow on someone. A gun, I can somewhat understand because of the heat of the moment type thing. You whip out your pistol and bang. It's done. But a fucking bow and arrow takes precision and a lot of follow through. Just unbelievable.

I do see that the Web site delted the only comment that someone had left.

It read, "Looks like someone went 'dear hunting.'"

Meh, seems rather gratuitous. Bow and arrow, gun, knife, golf club, rubber dildo, or baseball bat. Who cares what weapon is? I am too busy wondering why he did it in the first place.

I'm certainly not defending this deplorable act but why do you assume the guy was a "stupid redneck"? That's a term that is frequently applied to southern or rural white males and conjures up a particular image in most people's minds. It doesn't really say anything in the article to indicate that he was a "stupid redneck". I would suppose that you are making some associative assumption that since the guy owned a bow and arrow that he must be a "stupid redneck"? Not criticizing the purpose nor the intent of the thread, just found your choice for the thread title to be a bit curious.

I would say you'd most definitely have to be a total asshole to do what he did. I hope the woman will be OK.
