Subscribing to threads

I ran across mentions in various posts to subscribing to threads. Finally I found out how to do it. But I've yet to figure out its benefit. I see where I can search subscribed threads, but can I just call up all my subscribed threads? I really don't want notification every time someone posts to a thread, but it would be nice to open Freeones and call up just the threads I'm interested in following. It would save me from having to "bump" every thread I'm interested in and then search by me as user to get those threads (though that's what I've been doing and it certainly isn't the end of the world.)

Click "Profile."

In there it will show you which of your subscribed threads have had new posts.

And if you click on "List Subscriptions" it will show you all the threads to which you have subscribed.

Weird. I subscribed to about 20 forms, and then the "subscribe to this form" disappeared. I can still list the forms I'm subscribed to, but can no longer subscribe. I tried doing one in the Edit folders feature but that failed to work. It could be in my computer's blocks, but I haven't changed anything recently.

Dah! I just woke up and realized that the "subscribe to this thread" is under Thread Tools, not the Profile.
