Support for bid to clear pirate

The Scottish Parliament has been asked to support a campaign to clear the name of a captain who was hanged for piracy more than three centuries ago.

So, he was a pirate who then dies and because a ghost or if this new evidence is correct he way have been a ghost who made a conscious decision to become a pirate

And if that's true, it would give us some pretty strong evidence that capital punichment just does not work. And all we're creating are some pissed off spirits in the underworld who may one day choose to seek vengence.
