i always thought foot tattoos were kinda dumb. placement and overall shape is vital- its everything. i don't think its good to put something just anywhere you want. not only must it harmonize with the human body in placement but must have an outline which matches the general lines and contours of tghe body too. symmetry is usually a good thing as well
i didnt mean to pick on you foxycougar, but i know you probably wont take offense to it. in fact im not liking any of the tattoos in this thread in relationship to the body. taking into account the bigger picture.... doesn't look too good in my opinion

I got the tattoos on my feet because
A) I like my feet....I can have an orgasm via foot massage
B) I'm going into a professional field where it will be necessary for me to cover any tattoos that I might have and the ones on my feet are easily covered
C) My feet are very important to me and have been my entire life ( I know this sounds stupid but without my feet I could never had taken dance classes or played sports and whatnot so they've been very important, lol)
Personally, I think trendy tattoos are stupid; like the ones that all of the chicks are getting on their lower back just because the rest of their sorority has one. All of my tatts have a personal meaning to me and I think that's what a tattoo should be about.

I've a few and am working on a sleeve. The reason I got them, simple..... I like how they look. People can get them for all different reasons, if they have meaning that's fine just they don't need to have one to justify why they had it done. What kills me about many tattoos is so many people get them with purported Chinese or Japanese characters on them (to show how spiritual a person they are), and "Stan the Tat Man" tells them it means "inner peace" or whatever, but the character is really just a letter in the alphabet of the language or a symbol for "goat walks through forest in rain."
