My "side" is the right side...we always win!
I guess those pigs gave you the insight you needed...although that must mean everything you did and said before now was useless, you were just killing time til you went on this vacation , and saw the light.
Damn...too bad it took so many years to get there.
Or maybe you find laying down so much indefensible crap out there gets tedious when it shows how unprepared you are to actually back up the generic BS you sling.
You haven't read the ...what...1800 pages or so that lays out the Obamacare Blueprint for Disaster, and neither did those who set it into law.
It's pungi sticks and Claymores, Bouncing Bettys and IEDs set up and going off at random times and places...
No one knows just what is actually gonna go down, and all due to political posturing and NOT concern for the American people and the future that kept the bill from being worked out over the last 5-6 years bit after careful bit til it was right.
Dems have controlled the Senate and White house for long enough, but noooo..."we won, elections have consequences, Repubs want dirty air and etc, etc, etc..."
Same old loser shit. Meet the New Boss, same as the Old Boss.
You are just another sheeple spouting blank verse...

ah good morning to those with a conscience and also to those without any compassion for others whatsoever. I hope you all have a great weekend planned and do something special with your time.

for me, today is about catching up then headed to tampa while my cleaning girls are here then tomorrow I'm going to ask god to make sure he changes the predicted shitty weather just for me so I can enjoy a day on the water.

This is all going to lead to single-payer like the Repubs and later the Dems, proposed in the 1990s.

This compromise system will not work without costing even more than our current system.

This compromise system will not work and cover everyone without costing younger workers even more than our current system. As if their burdens aren't already heavy.

My hand is my best friend!
why not just reinstate the regulations that were taken away post 911 and that would take care of insurance Premiums and problema, but since we know that would break into the profit margin and companies are worth more than people in this country it'll never happen

I doubt that Obamacare will have positive effects on the economy.

The debate on "defunding" the Affordable Healthcare Act is interesting.

I haven't looked into the logistics of it. Exactly what would be defunded and by removing those funds from the budget would you actually prevent the administration and execution of the Act. Would it be able to exist without the funds?

That aside, I don't think it is a politically stupid maneuver. The House certainly has the right to propose whatever budget it wants. I believe it to have better grounds to do so than the executive does in picking what laws to enforce and what ones not to.

From what I have seen the Republicans aren't as good at communicating their message or managing the media, so that would definitely be a struggle.

Interesting, regardless of what people are saying about this. It is good entertainment.

Because Obamacare was not designed for them! meaning those who already have health insurance. They already receive government health insurance so there's no need for them to opt of that and go into the exchanges. The ACA was designed to provide health insurance to people who DON'T have employed based insurance or are just uninsured

I was watching TV yesterday and one of the pundit shows on TV showed a clip of Ed Henry, Fox News' White House correspondent, asking Jay Carney if he would enroll in the ACA's insurance exchange. I was literally yelling at the TV. The ACA isn't designed to help Jay Carney, he already has health insurance! When are people going to get this through their thick skulls. It's stupid questions like that that really piss me off

ok so why were certain businesses in Nancy Pelosi's district granted waivers, there have been over 1300 waivers given out so far, basically Obamacare is nothing more than a tax which is why the IRS will be charged with collecting, overall health of the US people will continue to decline after this is passed because doctors are not free to heal, they must follow the strict allopathic model or risk losing their license to practice medicine, remember the allopathic model involving drugging everyone as much as possible which means more patents on those drugs which means more profits to big pharma and company, now the main reason why Obamacare needs to be implemented is because the social security trust fund has been looted in the past 15-20 years and there is nothing in it but IOUs, so what Obamacare will do is create another giant pool of capital which can used by the powers that be to fund what they want to fund, this is the main reason behind the push for Obamacare, once again it comes back to money, as it always has, it has nothing to do with the healthcare of the people unfortunately

Yeah, but understand where the stupid questions are coming from. They are coming from ignorance, but the concerns are around what will this do to the overall market and healthcare. There are taxes and regulations that do impact the overall market and will have an impact on those who have insurance already.

So, first, it should be understood that this is another attempt to fill a healthcare gap. Kind of a next step to Medicare. Secondly, in order to pay for the filling of the the market needs to be controlled and funds need to be raised. I don't think people object to the former, but it is to their guess of the latter.

Like, uhhh ears, everyone has an opinion on how this will affect their cost to their healthcare plan and taxes overall (especially if the experts miscalculated). Over half the country in some poles are against the act. I admire the goal of it and I'm not sure it is the best path, but I'll be an optimist on the overall impact it will have on the market and taxes.

If I had read correctly, it is talking about people that spend $1000 for month on heath insurance. Who here spends $1K per month on health insurance? Are they throwing in a gym membership with that? A COBRA plan is about $365 mo.

I'm pretty sure a Family Cobra plan can be more than that. I don't think $15-20K a year is unheard of.
