The key players are now all in place in Washington and in state governments across America to officially label carbon dioxide as a pollutant and enact laws that tax we citizens for our carbon footprints. Only two details stand in the way, the faltering economic times and a dramatic turn toward a colder climate. The last two bitter winters have led to a rise in public awareness that there is no runaway global warming. The public is now becoming skeptical of the claim that our carbon footprints from the use of fossil fuels is going to lead to climatic calamities.

How did we ever get to this point where bad science is driving big government to punish the citizens for living the good life that fossil fuels provide for us?

Global Warming. It is the hoax. It is bad science. It is a highjacking of public policy. It is no joke. It is the greatest scam in history.

The real issue is climate change is ongoing. I just returned from the West rim of Grand Canyon, Arizona after touring Niagara Falls, New York, nature will continue to change no matter what you do.

So this so-called global warming is just part of nature of the earth continues to undergo changes, which may take 100 million years to a few million years.

Yes, we have to cut down urban carbon dioxide and sulphur dioxide emission because it is not good to our health but other than that, no one can do much about global warming !

Whichever side of the global warming fence you sit on you can probably find scientific evidence to support your p.o.v. & I am in the yes it is true camp.
I don’t really adhere to conspiracy theories but would not be surprised if those in power are fully aware of it, but who cares as long as it thaws out the arctic enough for them to get hold of the oil there. This is part of the reason Greenland wants to gain total independence from Denmark. At the end of the day the natural resources of the earth are limited, apart from wind, solar & water power so isn’t it better to put more effort into that? Obviously not if you’re part of the lucrative & highly influential oil industry!

The planet has always gone through changes in temperature as well as other atmospheric conditions. They are called weather patterns, and they have never remained in a pattern or at a certain temperature for very long. Science and history bear this out.

Also during the renaissance era it was warmer than now (by several degrees on average) and the whole planet was actually healthier and more productive.

What's called for here is reason and common sense, two things sadly lacking in today's world.

Besides planetary events (like large meteorite strikes and large volcanic eruptions) you would hard pressed to find times when the climate has changed this quickly. This isn't happening and won't continue to happen in the span of tens or hundreds of thousands of years or even just hundreds of years. It's taken only a handful of decades for it to ramp up like it has and it's only accelerating. Do people actually think it's just coincidence this is happening shortly after the industrial revolution got mass implementation around the world when scientifically carbon dioxide levels can be shown to have a greenhouse effect and are shown to be at higher levels than in eons.

The remedy for these so called environmental calamities always seem to employ the most costly, most bureaucratic and most theoretical (unproven / alternative) methods available, that way there's no real medium or parameter with which to measure any correction, if there was really ever a problem in the first place ! :spin: :updown: Special Interests will be served ahead of all else, unless . . .

it turns out that dinosaurs preferred to drive hummers and lincoln town cars. some now believe our pollution problems started there.
