Only about 3% of the CO2 is the result of human activity.
If it was all about CO2 levels then we would have seen a steady temperature rise over the last 200 years or so. We haven't , so clearly and obviously there are other much more powerful factors at work.
We are in fact in a warming environment between ice ages.The global temperatures rise when volcanic activity is reduced and fall when it increases.It's been significantly warmer than at present in the relatively recent past.

what are you quoting philbert? but besides that i agree with carlin in that the planet is fine we're just ticks who think we're oh so important we confuse our mortality and our danger with the planets. as for global warming i think it's a bit anthropocentric to believe it's all us. the earth does have continually shifting temperatures and weather patterns (i mean from say: the ice age to these days, not year to year). however, does mankind have an effect upon the planet? definitely. how big an effect? we really are just starting to be able to figure out

What I find funny is all these GW quacks claiming to be using current data from NOAA that NOAA does not release because they are only OUR National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. They do not collect data from other areas of the world they get that data from other agencies and produce climate studies every ten or so years after compiling a shit load of data a lot of which can't be verified.

A) The solution to global warming is obviously more punitive taxation. :dunno:

B) CO2 is bad, really bad.

C) Humans emit CO2 though, among other things, breathing.
