I'm 100% against this sort of rules. And it's not because I'm a porn fan (obviously I am, I'm healthy, thank you government), but because I believe:
1. It's not up to the government to interfear in my private life, or to anyone elses in a certain country and
2. The rule should be the opposite around. The internet should be open and free to everyone. If people believe certain themes or sites should be banned, they should be able to contact their provider and ask them to block these sites on their IP-address.
However, I am a parent of a 10-year old, who's for the moment busy exploring the internet, I don't think it's a governments business to decide what he can or can't find on the net. Parents have their responsabilities as well, and so it should be me or my wife to look what sites he surfs to. I can't repeat it enough, not the government but the parents have to take responsability in this matter.
Before you know, they ban 80% of the internet (porn, gamble-sites, extreme politics left and right sites, and so on) and before you know it, exploring the internet in the US or Europe is just the same as exploring it in China.
What a hypocrism this is, all these so called democratic countries have their mouth full of communism and how bad it is, but they act just the same...
