The Best war movie?

What do you think is the best war movie?
My vote is on Platoon, followed by Das boot

Although it's so much more than a war movie, it barely even falls into that catagory.

I also love The Pianist.

I like to see the "other side" of war movies, stories that take part during wars yet don't have much to do with the battle itself.

Platoon, yes!

Saving Private Ryan and especially Enemy At The Gates were really good as well.

I love Full Metal Jacket & Apocalypse Now, but I don't know if they could be considered "war movies".

I like "Never So Few" with Steve McQueen and Frank Sinatra...and Gina Lollabridgida (who would've been a HELL OF A PORNSTAR)...there's a scene in the film when she's having a drink with Frank and some other characters in the movie and she removes her scarf seductively...revealing her CLEAVAGE....Frank literally wipes his brow with a hankerchief. She pretty much toyed with him in that scene. I imagine Frank (and Frank's army character) ran into the bathroom after that scene and had am emergency *release* wank....
