Dennis Kucinich cites Joe Biden, Barack Obama to push impeaching Obama

Rep. Dennis Kucinich is looking into whether President Obama ought to be impeached for going to war kinetic military action time-limited, scope limited military action in Libya. And when pressed by the hosts on America’s Radio News Thursday to justify his position, Kucinich relied on comments made by Vice President Joe Biden, when he was a Senator during the Bush administration.

“I want to point out that I’m in pretty good company raising this question. Because Joe Biden, when he was a candidate in December 2007, said that if President Bush had gone ahead to attack Iran without congressional authorization, that he would move to impeach him. President Obama said the president doesn’t have the power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation…My reading of the Constitution is consistent with the people who are now president and vice president.”

Yes it is, Mr.Kucinioch, pretty ballsy of you to be pointing this out.

At least according to the War Powers Resolution of '73 a president has 60 days to use the military without congressional approval. He must comply with reporting the military action to congress within 48 hrs.

That said, I agree with DK on the point about the US having no right to be intervening in the affairs of Libya in this case.

What is it about being president that turns people into the same type of fucked-up asshole that preceded them? :dunno::confused:

Yeah..I don't get what the fuck Obama thinks he's doing here.

The biggest problem I see in this beside it not being our business, is the objective is sketchy and rife with policy hazards...

Just dumb and inconsistent IMO. Even if he has some bigger plan afoot than is apparent. The policy is still bad/wrong.

Damn what ever he does these days! Either not taking charge or being too slow to act? Impeach him or with in his executive power? Republicans he is not being a commander in chief in the questionable adjectives or Democrats why is being a war President?

I think he did a fine job, he is still lacking overall, but i think he made the right choice with NATO, Arab League and some support at home.
