Did anybody watch? The Emmy Awards used to be a big deal but it seems like their ratings get worse year after year.

"Television" is so scattered now, with pure-cable channels, and pay-cable (e.g., HBO) channels.. No, I didn't watch it. I haven't really watched the Oscars either, since they went to featuring "past stars," versus showing actual clips of the nominated films / performances..

I don't think I ever watched any of these things. Though, I remember seeing like an aunt watching them back when I was a wee one. I think it had more of a meaning back then. Everyone knows its a joke now.

I haven't watched ANY awards shows in eons. I could be wrong, but from what I believe I've heard ... haven't they too often become political platforms?
