These games will likely all be pretty tight IMO. There are nothing but power teams left except for Arizona and they are playing out of their minds right now. This is as competitive a Sweet 16 field as I have ever seen. I wish I had the balls to pick Mizzou....

That's my heart talking. Objectively, I'm doubtful Mizzou can hang for 40 minutes against Memphis and come out on top. Depends if Carroll can dominate inside and how much Taylor and Lyons can contribute....also, if Lawrence can nail a bunch of 3-pointers, they have a shot. Memphis is very tough but this would be a pick I would be happy to lose if somehow my Tigers (Missouri, that is) can prevail. If they can keep it close, anything can happen at the end of the game.
I think Kansas is overrated so I picked MSU but perhaps that's just because I hate the Jayhawks so much maybe?
If Griffin can stay healthy, OU will be tough but as you said, ain't nobody got an easy road from here on out. This thing should be a real dogfight as we progress to the Elite 8!

O well congrats to MSU for gutting that one out, but I HATE the fact Kansas went into clock killer (aka prevent offense) mode so prematurely and pissed ALL their momentum away. Strange use of time outs too. And the 19 turnovers sure didn't help.

Props to UConn but I'm really proud of Missouri for their effort against a team that is simply better than they are. I'll tell you what....Missouri's program is on the fast track now with this Elite 8 showing and I love Anderson's "40 minutes of hell" style of play. It will be interesting to see how his recruiting results pan out over the next few years....we may be seeing a new perennial power rising in the Big 12 to add to Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

That was a heck of a battle between Villanova and Pitt. I'd have liked to have seen the refs play less of a role, but so it goes. The Wildcats were lucky to survive that massive brain fart they pulled in the waning seconds - an attempt at a full court inbound pass when all they needed was to safely inbound the ball and force Pitt to foul.

Oh yeah....what great games today! Wow...this may be the best competitive balance in the tournament ever! And yes, that ridiculous pass downcourt might have spelled doom for Nova....somehow, they found a way to hang on. Geez....what excitement! If you're a college basketball fan, it doesn't get any better than this shit!
