I think, at this point, porn is going to end up having some problems if they keep trying to get more and more extreme.
I can't speak for everyone, but the more misogynistic porn gets, the more I pull away from it. And frankly, the obsession the producers seem to have with having the gals do more and more outrageous things (Cake farts, anyone?) the more disgusting and alienating it's getting.
I think they need to stick with the basics, and get more charismatic performers. You know- find some guys that don't look like they just busted out of prison (or even really have! :eek: ) Don't just let anything with a vagina on screen. I'm not saying make porn movies with huge production values and plots, but stick with good, attractive people and take the disrespect out of it.
That being said, and because now there IS the internet, the other stuff will continue to exist, no doubt. But that doesn't mean it has to be passed off as normal. Porn suffers from the same thing that effects basically everything in a capitalistic society, but even worse. With all the fake boobs of the last 20 years, I've noticed Natural more and more becoming a special category/fetish at least in the United States.
