The Muslim Brotherhood is a threat to pretty much everything. So is the Christian brotherhood. So is pretty much any organized religion.

Religion is just a system of control. You can lead a perfectly moral and ethical life from your own personal values without the influence/guidance of an organised religion. And that doesn't have to mean you're a staunch atheist, there may well be some sort of creator but he/she/it doesn't have to be the one that the religions tell us it is along with all those fantastic yet unbelievable stories.

I respectfully disagree, I've come to know hundreds upon hundreds of people who, only if you twist their arms real hard will they disclose their basic christian religious values. The christians I've met seem to have fun doing anything and everything an atheist would do, in fact, most don't attend church, they curse, drink, smoke, sometimes indulge in drugs and screw each other outside of marriage with regularity . . . so who informed you that all christians are god worshipping freaks?
The truth of the matter is, most people (even the one's who regularly attend church services) keep their religious values to themselves and would feel that it would be in bad taste to impose their religion upon others.

I never said there was anything wrong with the individuals within religions, I meant the big fundamentalist leaders and all that like to influence society and governments. Why do you think men in Muslim countries set their wives on fire and beat them?

The "Anti-Christian sentiment" is mis-labeled imo. It's just that this country is supposed to have seperation between church and state. Imagine if there was no seperation at all. Would we be allowed to beat up our wives? Would this website be shut down? Would I be fined big money for owning porn, a la Singapore? Just my opinion.

Man I can't see how any shit in the middle east could start WW3 to be honest. Any fundie christian shit or jihad joe wank is precisely just that.......None of the nations in the middle east are capable of waging a proper "conventional" war by today's standards.

If anything it will turn any external desires inward.....A power vacuum which leads to a fucking serious mess right after a nice little civil war. In short no state to pick a row with any of your neighbour's.

As for jihad joe's ever acquiring a nuke.....I feel they could have years ago. They even in all their extremity aren't actually stupid enough to nuke anyone because quite frankly yea you wreck a capital city....Reaction to such a move would be:

1. Nuke the shit out of the host country of the nationality of the perpetrators.
2. Nuke the shit out of where you think there actual base of operations is located.
3. No Geneva convention or moral conscious would get in the way after that pandora's box was opened.
4. Its all royally FUBAR now.

They can understand this. Same thing for any of their sovereign nations like Iran gaining nukes...They simply don't have the stockpile.....If even 1 ballistic missile goes up skyward that intelligence hasn't sussed out is a test or its trajectory is odd....It will be fucking 99 red balloons time. They just want it as a detterent which is somewhat reasonable....If I was in tehran I would be wondering when I am going to see some M1 Abrams come rolling up the hill.

Finally we are in the age of globalization where all the fat cats are really pals.....Everything else is just social control of the masses.
