I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.
Lots of great players never get the chance to hold their leagues championship trophy. Karl Malone, Charles Barkley, Ted Williams, Ernie Banks, Willie McCovey etc. Which of this era's greatest players do you think is most likely to never win a title??

I’m a rocket-scientist!!
I woulda said Sid Crosby, but he got his ring last year. Gotta think of like Alex Ovechkin and Marian Gaborik off the top of my head for the NHL. Basketball woulda said Garnett but he got his ring last year too. Allen Iverson I would say is high on that list; he used to be the shit but now he blows nuts. I would also put Lebron James on that list. I also worry about Joe Mauer playing in that small market and the Yankees throwing billions at their rosters.

Junior Griffey for sure...although injuries have kind of cut his career short. He'll never win a ring.

I can't believe Joe Thornton will not win a ring. He was on crappy Bruins teams but his Sharks teams have usually been top contenders in the West.

I think Steve Nash is a great player but he is not hall-of-fame calibre. He'll never win a championship. Neither will TMac. His window has closed. He's pretty much on the downside...

Garcia is a punk who will probably win one someday...nobody cares about him. He's hardly in the Top 20 of golfers...

I didn't add any NFL players. WTF.

Donovan Mcnabb
Randy Moss
Terrell Owens
LaDainian Tomlinson

Donovan McNabb, Randy Moss, and LaDainian Tomlinson.... really? I could see one of those guys winning one this year.

Terrell Owens will never win one... but he'll be in the Hall-of-fame though. :hatsoff:

Junior.
He might retire after this year. And if he does play another year, how can it be guaranteed it will be with a winner? If he goes back to the Mariners, he will not get a ring. Frankly, Seattle isn't even the best in the division, by far.
Too bad, really. He did help turn around the Mariners franchise, giving it a lot of needed new found blood in the 1990s. And the Reds were never able to figure out how to build a competent team around him (HINT: Sluggers like Kearns and Dunn will not win with pitching like Hamilton, Milton and Weber).
I'm a big fan of The Kid, but I just don't think the cards are stacked in his favor.

Why?

He's clearly over-rated. He's always dropped more passes than he catches.

He gets media attention due to the fact he's an attention whore...not due to his abilities on the field.

I'm glad his time in Buffalo has shut his mouth so far this season.

FreeOnes makes me moist!
Ken Griffey Jr especially when he was on those good Seattle Mariners teams. Im a big Iverson fan so he's next on my list. I know a lot of people don't like him but Barry Bonds is another 1 who was great but never won

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
Just on merit alone I would have to say Ken Griffey Jr. one of the really good guy of baseball. and he has the Sweetest swing I've ever seen and amazing homerun power. :2 cents:

Off that list I would say Ken Griffy Jr. Although for some reason about a decade into his career and when he went to the Reds he really fell off a cliff performance wise and because of that I would rate him as just a solid hall of famer instead of an inner circle hall of famer like people thought he was going to be.

I got to agree with most people here: Ken Griffey Jr. is probably the best.

I changed my middle-name to Freeones
Ken Griffey, but I voted for Steve Nash since he is a fav. Ken truley is a true player and a great person!

zimie

A day for firm decisions! Or is it?
Ted Williams is the greatest player to never win a championship.

Pain heals, chicks dig scars, Freeones lasts forever
Mike Gartner.
He scored over 700 goals in his 19 years, but never won the cup.
The Rangers traded him to Toronto in 94 when he could have won.

I wouldn't go for Steve Nash because its pretty much a given he'll go to New York, and if New York bring in the players they want to bring in Steve Nash could have a ring on his finger before 2012
