After that I was skimming it hoping to read that he had been battered senseless and was completing this story a la Stephen Hawking or even better via a spirit medium.

I'm sorry to tell you that it appears he is alive and well with no other injuries other than overwhelming delusion that he has something interesting to say.

^^ I saw this and thought, "Oh well, I'll give it a whirl." Then I clicked on the link and realized it was written by Tucker Max (clearly didn't read the link beforehand). Immediately, I closed that tab. I don't even need to read the story to realize that the analysis from Mrs. Jolly is probably spot-on. Tucker is a total douche. He's another member of humanity that I wouldn't mind seeing eliminated via a very large meteor.
