who will play for the national champ?

In my opinion it should be Florida vs. Texas. As long as the Gators come through next Saturday and beat the Crimson Tide as I expect them to, they should be in the national championship game in January. As for the other team, it's lookin' right now like it might end up being Oklahoma, but I still think the Longhorns have a shot - either they need to get to the Big XII championship game themselves and beat Missouri, or they need to hope that Oklahoma State beats Oklahoma today and sends Texas Tech to the Big XII championship game. Then even though Texas wouldn't be the Big XII champion, officially, if it could get enough votes it could still make the national championship game in January. At least I think that could conceivably still happen. I guess we'll know soon enough!

I think it could happen to only because the computers have a say in it. I think if it was just sports writers and coaches it would be Flordia vs. Oklahoma orTexas.

The Big12 Championship Game has a history of strange underdog beatdowns over the favorite....the favorite going into that game is not an auto-win......There is no way Mizzou should even trot out to the same field as Tex/Okie/TTech...BUT..that game has produced some strange results which have fraked things up...
