My hand is my best friend!
Im seeing Steelers and Eagles in SB XLIII. Eagles are hot hot hot. Now was the Cards defense that good or Delhomme that bad and it was worse than bad it was...I got nothing for how bad he was throwing into double coverage, off his back foot. Ugh just horrible. Now the Steelers and Ravens should be good, two elite defenses going at it, good smashmouth football. But the Steelers have the better offense easy. Methinks the Steelers win it all for a record six Super Bowls.:(

Mom, I feel funny down there
Hellz Yeah, My Philadelphia EAGLES are in it. During the season right at the darkest hour and maintaining til the miracle on the last day of the regular season I said there was a thread's chance. Thank God for the Oakland and Texans wins. I took it all one game at a time so it really surprised me to hear Philly will be in their 5th NFC Championship Game in 8 years. It felt so great to come out on top in the 2nd Half against the Giants. I am quite aware of the differences in the Arizona Cardinals now. Got to watch for Edge even? Steelers, Ravens, and Philly are ranked 1,2,3 in the League in Defense. Get the job done EAGLES. Pittsburgh I guess I need them to beat Baltimore.

I think that the Super Bowl champion will be decided in the AFC Championship game. The Steelers looked awesome against San Diego, but the Chargers are not the Ravens. If the Ravens' defense gets into it early, I don't think the Steelers have a chance.

In the NFC game, I'm going with Arizona. The Cardinals will be at home. Warner and his receivers are having a hell of a postseason, and their defense has proven their ability to stop the run. True, they haven't gone against Westbrook in the past 2 weeks, but I think they can keep their momentum next week.

Here's the outcome: two six seeds, one four seed and one two seed advance. Right now my money's on the two seed. Funny how so many of these games were decided because of turnovers. I have to give props to Parker and the Steelers O-Line. Play like that again and they just might beat Philly in the Super Bowl.

"Ooooh, they don't deserve to be here"!, guess what, they do. Because alongside the NFL rules with all those tie breakers every single team who has made the post season or will eventually become Conference Champion has deserved it. OK, maybe not the Ravens...:D, but in the end that "not-delay-of-game" was just another 'what-if'. Unfotunately blown calls are part of the game, in every sport.

As for the games yesterday and the day before: bye bye Giants! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! Oh, and the Chargers too, hell yeah! Have fun playing golf! The Steelers D just showed Rivers how bad he really is, so thanks for that! As for the AFC Championship game, I wouldn't dare to call a winner, maybe the end result will even be 2-0. If Warner has another game like the last one, the Cardinals might advance to the SuperBowl, but my money is still on the Eagles to win it all.

P.S.: Just as a sidenote, I'm a Patriots fan to the core, and three words to all those Boston fans who were crying for days about the NFL rules: get over it! The Pats should have won in Indy, that would have sealed the deal. They didn't, so they missed it. After #12 went down nobody expected anything, but Cassel and the whole team made it one hell of a ride and kept fighting until the end. It was a great season after all.

I think about sex every 7 seconds!
As i said in this thread many weeks ago the Steelers will do it.... well now i'm worried about my prediction, i think Baltimore have been outstanding, i mean how good is the big man RAY LEWIS!!! and ED REED at the back in the safery position man he reads the game to well you cant coach those things he will pick the ball out of the air without the other team knowing he is their!

I do have to say though you gotta feel for the Giants and Carolina 2 top teams in reg season and now the likes of Arizona still in it coming from a terrible weak div! it just doesnt seem fair

1 more thing, all of the teams left have the best defence, Baltimore awesome steelers awesome Eagles (last few weeks) awesome and Arizona well they just been lucky 1 man team in Larry without him they wouldnt be here

Steelers. That's my answer. You have no idea what this place is like this time of year, especially when we're in prime condition to win another Super Bowl.

Oh yeah, one last thing: FUCK THE RAVENS.

In the Giants/Eagles game I know it was windy, but was anybody else surprised to see Eli and the offense of the Giants collapse? It's like the old pre 2007 Eli decided to show up that day.

I never thought their offense was all that good to begin with. They were more of a defensive team all year, with the exception of their running game...which they didn't use to it's full potential against the Eagles. :dunno:

Either way, I think the Ravens will win the Super Bowl.

I am rooting for Steelers to win it all this year. Their offense may struggle at times but with a D like that who needs offense? Ravens will be a tough match and I believe whoever wins the game will win SB as well, but Steelers all the way baby!

Would you hit it?
ha. . . I went one for four on my picks! that's why i am a FAN, not an expert! hehehe

I am rooting for Baltimore and Philly to make it. hopefully just one makes it to the Super Bowl, that way I have a clear preference to root for!

They committed to stop the run and forced the Giants to become somewhat one-dimensional. They refuse to admit it, but the absence of Plaxico REALLY hurts this team. They do not have anyone to draw a double coverage to free up other receivers and they lack a go-to guy. Its nice having a guy that towers over the CB's that you can loft it to.

It'll be interesting to see how the address this in the off-season.

I disagree 100%. This is a team that is coming together on both sides of the ball at exactly the right time. The defense has stepped up big-time and made a huge difference and the offense....well, the Cardinals quite simply have the best offense in the NFL when everyone is healthy and Warner is on his game. You don't beat Atlanta and Carolina in consecutive weeks based strictly on luck. This is a very dangerous team right now.
