The Police at their VERY BEST.

An article taken from the local News Paper this week.

A burly Policeman has been accused of assaulting a 16 year old cafe worker.

PC Brian Carswell took David Shields to the Police Station to question him about money which had gone missing from the cafe the teenager worked in.

But it was alleged that Carswell, 48, assaulted the youngster before grabbing his mobile phone and deleting a recording of the attack.

During a trail at the Sheriff Court this week, Sheriff Carole Cunninghame heard that despite no money being found on him at a search in the sandwich bar he worked in, David agreed to go with Carswell to the police station.

While the two were alone, David claimed that Carswell flew at him, grabbing his clothes and pinning him against a wall. He said that he was seized by the throat and that Carswell tried to take his mobile phone from him.

The court heard that when three other officers came to the interview room they found David with marks on his throat, crying and distressed.

Carswell said that he was restraining David because he feared he had a knife in his hand.

Carswell, who has 25 years service, denies two charges of assault and a charge of attempting to defeat the ends of justice by taking David's mobile phone with the intention of deleting incriminating evidence.

The trial continues next week.

This seems to me like your typical pig at their best. Just because the fat dough nut munching cunt has serviced 25 years in the force, that means FUCK ALL. Because how many more times has it been covered up and he got lucky in it not going any further. This time the fat pig's luck ran out. And his excuse of the boy having a knife in his hand is pathetic indeed. This isn't the first time I have heard of the police [the filth] at this kind of activity. My cousin had a run in with them, and one of them almost got my cousin in a room alone and was going to slap him around with a flashlight he was carrying. It was a hard and heavy one, not a cheap one, so it would have done some damage. Luckily my cousins mother was there and stopped the policeman from taking my cousin into a room alone to have a chat with him that would have resulted in a beating and then the excuse being used by the pig of my cousin attempting to attack the pig, and the pig just defending himself. Aye right, fuck the police.

Just because one pig may have done it does not mean all. I've seen officers in both enforcement and, even worse, corrections have countless accusations flown at them. And in each and every case, it must to be investigated, regardless of how weird, unlikely and just stupid the accusation is. I've seen the bullshit first hand with those in my extended family.

So don't associate one, potential bad behavior as "typical." The facts will present themselves and people outside the police department will be involved. The overwhelming majority of police are not on ego trips, and when they are forceful in their speech and demeanor, are only trying to scare people into not being stupid. I usually only see people get confronted by alleged "pigs" when they are being stupid.

Unfortunately, every organization has their 'bad apples.'

Piggy is as piggy does. Pigs are pigs at the end of the day. One for all and all for one. Only this time they couldn't hide it. Like I said earlier, fuck them. I hope the fat bastard loses his job. But that is unlikely as it is not often pigs lose their jobs here in the UK. Respect is given when it is due, and the pigs here in the UK dont have a chance in fuck. They are incompetent in the extreme, bully boys hiding behind a badge and uniform. Little bastards that are on a power trip, thinking because they are in uniform that they are right and the civilians they serve, are wrong. They think they are above the law. They work for it, they are not above it.

I'm not saying what this police officer did was right, but all he did was throw a kid up against a wall and they're acting as if he beat him within an inch of his life or something.

MEDIA: Blowing things out of proportion since the beginning of time.

How in the fuck do you know? How do you know what was going to happen? That's just a ridiculous thought and you know it.

Pigs are pigs at the end of the day. One for all and all for one.

Typical response from someone who wants to hate policemen for no reason at all.

Police officers aren't pigs at the end of the day; they're regular people, just like you and me.

Can't see what this one is saying. And I don't care either. It had it's chance a while back. He's been on ignore for a while now. The board is all the better for it.

If I'm supposedly on your "ignore list", then why do you go into threads that I start and post in them? That's the complete opposite of "ignore".

No matter how long someone has been working, an assault is an assault and
should be dealt with fairly and without bias.

If he's found guilty he should be given the same sentence as anyone else would be given.

Another officer trying to cover-up his misdeeds.

Just means he's been roughing people up and grossly abusing his badge for 25 years. Typical redneck prick. Ravenholm is right, fuck this motherfucker. I'm sure there were 3 rapes and 2 murders that went ignored while this alpha douche was wasting his time knocking around some emo wuss coffee shop clerk.

Don't worry though, he'll find some guy driving 6 miles over the speed limit with a .082 BAC and a nickel bag of weed to intimidate before the night is over.

And chef, what's going on here? First you say that people minding their own business not wanting to get involved in gang thuggery should be dragged into the woods and be beaten to within inches of their life. Next, you're defending some asshole cop assaulting and intimidating some kid in a coffee shop. I shudder to think of the Draconian oppression that would exist in a world according to your ideals.

Please point out where I defended him.

All I said is that the media was blowing this out of proportion. Not once did I say that he didn't do anything wrong.

Why are people so against police? People need to drop the NWA mentality. One or two bad cops doesn't mean every single cop in the world is crooked.

What are you going to do when a cop saves your ass? Are you going to call him a pig to his face like you've been saying here?

and not wanting to debate the semantics or the meaning of the word "defending"

To his face? No.. no. Me and blueballs have the same mentality on this.. we usually punch them really hard in the face, then go steal their cruiser and pick up chicks. Dead chicks. Well honestly it takes about two people to get them out of the ground in a short-enough time so that the whole desire to take a... dead.. ::ahem:: But yeah. 2 people to do it properly and timely.

Usually it's because it's not just a few bad apples. If you counted every cop that was crooked, unethical, or just looked the other way because of the "blue wall of silence" (you know it's bad when a term has actually been invented for it) it would be a huge percentage of them. That's not even counting them enforcing crappy laws that they knew where crappy when they joined. Even a lot of the ones that aren’t even as bad as that seem to be on a minor power trip. As far as a cop saving my life, where I'm at if some dangerous potentially life threatening situation is happening that might seriously risk their own safety they might show up an hour after I'm dead or have dealt with the situation myself when there is no danger to themselves anymore, but if they want to give somebody a traffic ticket they are right there when you need them to be. I even know old people that are afraid of dying naturally in their own homes because if for some reason cops need to come in to investigate it they think they are probably going to steal some stuff while they are at it from previous experiences their friends had.

This story reminds me of two neighborhood friends who were playing basketball in the alley one summer night, when the police rolled up and kicked their asses for something stupid and planted two bags of weed on them. They were both [falsely] arrested for loitering with the possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest. The thing is, these guys were straight edged and weren't involved with drugs or gangs and the cops that arrested them said that the probable cause was they flashed gang signs at them, yeah right. . . utter bullshit. All I know after that incident was after their parents retained attorneys, the charges were somehow dropped. A typical day on Chicago's west side.
