I thought this was an interesting graphic. What do you suppose would happen to medicine if the US government was throwing the same money at it as is currently being thrown into Iraq. What could nearly 800 million dollars do in the quest to find a cure for cancer?

We would be better off promoting a low carbohydrate diet instead of a low fat diet..After God knows how long, obesity is still a bloody problem in America.Not to mention all of the sugar enriched foods which abound and the fact that we're consuming more carbohydrates than animal fat and protein nowadays.Also, we're more likely to be sitting on our asses than moving about and working our asses off, so you can blame technology as well.

Yesterday, I took a shower, then towel dried myself, got dressed, swallowed a few of my pills and went to the grocery store.

The produce manager said to me, "Mrs Walker, I love your new hair style."

When I got home, I noticed that I didn't brush my hair before I left to go shopping.

I look like a fucking whore that just got done doing a trick, but I kind of like it.

I've said it before islamic extremism is just one of the many problems the west faces so spending the bulk of your budget on tackling that is ridiculous. More people are killed by drunk drivers than terrorists but does tackling alcoholism receive as much funding as anti-terrorism? All the trillions spent on fighting could have saved 1000s of lives if spent on hospitals or research into killer diseases, so many people in the UK go on about Islam destroying the country yet the country is now burning because of non-muslim youths, if all the money spent on the war on terror was spent on tackling these degenerate chavs instead they wouldn't have brought this country to its knees. I'm more likely to be stabbed by a hoodie on the street than blown up by a muslim suicide bomber but the govt and police are too blind to see that.

But seriously, the Govt will NEVER throw the same amount of money into America's health care system or disease research because there's some very powerful lobbyists, CEOs, and companies out there that don't want that much money to go to the health care sector. If it did, suddenly they'd be out of business because diseases would be cured, people would stop eating fast food, and obesity wouldn't be an issue anymore.
