GRRRRR! Why did you have to remind me of that? The surfer was the ONLY cool thing about that movie. He was perfect, everything else sucked. The suckiest thing about that movie was the fact that Galactus was a fucking cloud.

I thought they actually handled the Surfer with dignity, at least. They didn't totally fuck him up. But the movie overall just sucked balls.

Sigh...Galactus. One of my very favorite characters in the Marvel Universe. It was a no-win situation with him. They couldn't portray him like he is in the comics, it just wouldn't have worked on film. You could never capture the magnitude of the character.

Sadly...making him a cosmic dust cloud was probably about the best they could do to make an audience even sort of grasp the concept.

I've always loved the Norse mythology, so lets hope the movie's as good as the trailer looks. With Anthony Hopkins it's got to be good.
